Taylor's company had a work party recently. He'd informed the family that it would be a time to see some tractors and have some food, nothing big. With expectations set fairly low, it was a pleasant surprise! Turns out every 5 years it's a big one and this was the 45th anniversary. The tractors both of John Deere and Caterpillar that they make parts for were on display and open for "testing" out. There were numerous "blow-up toys" for the kids (Jacqie got to partake also), balloon clowns, face painting, carnival games, pony rides and roasted pigs. In other words, much more of a party than led to believe. Oh, and the one facility it was held at was open for a self-guided tour so they got to have a glimpse of what goes on inside!

I can't tell, was that a blow-up cheese slide? Isn't that a little random? I mean, it's Illinois, not Wisconsin, right? Well, I hope it came with a clever name like "cheese slide" or "the swiss alps".
